Volunteer opportunity description

Ping! London is a public ping pong project delivered by Table Tennis England.

This year Ping! is taking place in 24 cities across England with the aim of inspiring more people to lead more active, healthy and well-balanced lifestyles through table tennis.

The street table tennis project called Ping! London is on a mission to inspire Londoners to be more active, healthy and sociable.

The project has seen hundreds of ping pong tables places in popular public places, providing the opportunity to thousands of people to play for free.

We are looking for volunteers who can help inspire people to play, and provide the public with an incredible experience again in 2017.

There are many ways in which you could get involved with Ping! the decision is yours!

We are looking for people that are individually motivated and can spend time at specific locations checking on the tables, speaking the the participants, taking photos and having informal chats to the participants.

If you want to go one step further and feel comfortable running small games and challenges this is very welcomed at many Ping! locations around London. You will aim to get everyone, even the less confident people, around the table involved!

Alternatively, if you are already a coach and wish to provide some hints and tips to the general public then do get in touch! We may also require your help at events throughout the summer too.
