Volunteer opportunity description

Breast Cancer Care is the only UK-wide charity providing specialist support and tailored information for anyone affected by breast cancer. Our clinical expertise and emotional support network help many thousands of people find a way to live with, through and beyond breast cancer.

What will I be doing?

Various administration tasks which may include :

  • Supporting HR co-ordinators with administration tasks
  • Updating our HR database - Myview
  • Support of new starter administration¬†
  • Gathering of information required to support quarterly reporting

What skills or qualities do I need?

  • A friendly and confident phone manner.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Flexibility, as this role can be quite varied.
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times


What training and support will I receive?

  • Volunteers will be invited to attend a Welcome Workshop (1 day) and will receive full support to help , understand and carry out any aspect of the role as appropriate
  • Breast Cancer Care will refund all expenses incurred in travelling to and from the regional office. 

What will I gain from volunteering?
