Volunteer opportunity description

At FBB, we believe that football is a powerful tool for creating a better society and helping others. We work in schools across London to enrich the lives of young people and support them in school.
We’re currently looking for volunteers who can help us with this mission.
Our schools programme features weekly visits to schools across London. We need trainee or qualified football coaches who can help us deliver high-quality football sessions.
By volunteering with us you’ll get:
  • Valuable work experience
  • An opportunity to put your football knowledge into practice
  • An understanding of FBB’s specialist coaching philosophy
  • Insights into how we use sport to support our participants in their wider lives
  • To be a part of the thriving and ever-growing FBB family

We are looking for people who can commit for at least 2 hours per week (normally in the afternoon around 3-5, though not always). We also ask that you commit for at least one school term so that we can ensure consistency for the young people we work with.

If you’d like to find out more, please get in touch.
The start date is September 2018, with a training day in August. We look forward to hearing from you.
Note: This role requires volunteers to undertake a DBS which we will arrange (and pay for). Also, we will reimburse the travel expenses you incur as part of volunteering for us.
