Volunteer opportunity description

Volunteer for a day in Clapton Girls Academy in East London, helping Year 8 students develop their problem solving, teamwork and presentation skills on this awesome enterprise programme!

Custom Made is an enterprise event in which students take part in fun activities to test their problem solving, leadership, teamwork, financial literacy and decision-making skills. Students will spend the day putting together a proposal for a fashion show and creating their own product range. Throughout the event students will be using and developing their communication skills, ability to work in a team, creativity and confidence.

We are looking for volunteers to come in and share their knowledge and experience to support students through this creative enterprise programme. You do not need to have any fashion expertise and Inspire! provides all of the materials and resources.

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm!
  • 60 minutes for a training session in advance of the event
  • 7 hours committment on the day (08:15 - 15:15)
  • We are unable to reimburse volunteer expenses.

This role does not require volunteers to undertake a DBS check.
