Volunteer opportunity description

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run owned by baby charity, Tommy's who are delighted to bring the event to the UK's capital with the support of Westminster City Council and the City of London Corporation.

We need enthusiastic, proactive, and practical individuals who are prepared to be placed in a variety of roles at the event. If you want to be part of the epic central London sporting event and do so whilst helping many charities raise millions of pounds, then this is the role for you!

VOLUNTEER ROLES:
•    Greeting & directing participants
•    Helping with the Starts 
•    Manning the Bag Drop area
•    Assisting on the Route
•    Manning Drinks Stations
•    Helping in the Finish area handing out medals etc 
•    Assisting with our event entertainment - for example this may include dressing up as a Suffragette, a Roman Gladiator, in a bowler hat, or as a character from Harry Potter!

Depending on your role, volunteers are needed between 7am and 2.30pm.

Lunch is provided and you will receive a volunteering medal.

 

Requirements

There are no specific requirements for this role - only enthusiasm! 

Please note. The role will require long periods of standing and is based outdoors please consider your own mobility ability prior to applying.
