Volunteer opportunity description

Join us in supporting hundreds of small charities to be more effective and sustainable, giving them vital skills and improving their knowledge and confidence. We are looking for volunteers who can provide support at our event.

The Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) was established to provide support to the small charity sector so these organisations delivering vital services can be as effective and sustainable as possible.

We deliver a learning programme throughout the year that includes training events, conferences, advice clinics and the Small Charity Week campaign

By volunteering You'll be supporting us to deliver a conference event for up to 200 small charities in Central London on 9th March 2017.
You'll undertake a range of tasks including:
- Helping us to set up for the event
- Directing delegates to their workshops
- Note taking of workshop topics
- Ensuring delegates have a positive experience

Requirements

If possible we're looking for a team of 5 volunteers.

You'll need to be available from 9am – 4.30pm.

You don't need any training or qualifications to volunteer at this event, just a smile and a can-do attitude!

We will provide lunch and will reimburse any travel expenses within London zones.

You will receive a full briefing in advance and on the day of the event
