Description & History

Millions of Londoners and tourists visit the eight Royal Parks for free each year. The 5,000 acres of historic parkland provide unparalleled opportunities for enjoyment, exploration and healthy living in the heart of the capital.

We work to protect, conserve, maintain and care for the Royal Parks, and to promote the use and enjoyment of the Royal Parks for public recreation, health and well-being.

Everything we achieve, we do so in partnership with others and we’d like to say a huge thank you to all our friends, hard-working volunteers and enthusiastic supporters in the UK and overseas.
