On 19 September, hundreds of walkers dressed as carrots will turn the streets of London orange to raise money for Fight for Sight. Volunteers are needed to help give out out T-shirts & medals, stewarding and serving refreshment to the weary walkers.
Girlguiding Haringey is looking for volunteer Leaders and Assistant Leaders to help run weekly Rainbow or Brownie groups. You will have the opportunity to work with young people, share or develop new skills, meet new people and have fun!
Wise Thoughts is looking for LGBT artists to help run tester creative cultural hub activity sessions for LGBT community drop-ins at Wood Green Library. Daily travel expenses and a meal allowances are provided.
This year's Schools' Conference is on 10 October 2014, at City Hall. Speakers including Veronica Wadley, the Mayor's Senior Adviser for Volunteering and Marc Kielburger, co-founder of international charity Free The Children.
