Selby Trust is enabling young people to learn new skills and gain an employability award. This initiative combines volunteering and DIY to challenge and encourage young people to learn trade and building skills.
As a Chance UK mentor you would meet with a child aged between 5-11 years for two to four hours once a week. You’d spend time planning each weekly mentoring session, write a report on it afterwards, and attend a supervision once a month.
We have a volunteering hub in the 639 Enterprise Centre in Tottenham and are looking for volunteers to greet members of the public and provide information about opportunities available within the centre.
This year's Awards ceremony will be held at City Hall on 14 September. The Awards recognise the value of volunteering and are a chance to celebrate the amazing things we can accomplish when we work together to make London the best city it can be.
Volunteers required to help at a creative tea party event for World Book Night at Custom House Library. Roles will include helping serve cake and lemonade, hosting art activity and creative writing stalls and assisting community members old and young.
